  RentMaster Pocket Inspection

RentMaster Pocket Inspection is an add on product to the RentMaster suite of applications.  This product allows you to load your property inspection schedule onto your Pocket PC, PDA or PDA phone, and then take it with you while doing your inspections.  Details of the inspection including notes of the properties condition can be gathered, and then loaded back into your computer again when you arrive back in the office.

  • Load your schedule including the inspection date, tenants name and address, and any reminder notes to yourself.
  • Take the PDA with you during your inspections.  This technology portrays a very professional image for your business.
  • While inspecting the property, take notes of anything which needs attention.
  • When you arrive back in the office, load the inspection details back onto your desktop computer again as a permanent record of your visit
  • A separate add-on software license is required to load data to/from your desktop PC (see below).

Requirements

  • You will need a Pocket PC PDA or a PDA Phone to use this software.
  • The device will need to be running a Pocket PC version of windows.  (Palm OS is not supported.)
  • The device will need to have the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework installed.  If this software is not on the device, it can be installed from this web site. When you install the software, you will be informed if this is missing.
  • A separate software add-on licence is required to use this software (see below).

License

This software is free to download, and I recommend you do that before purchasing to make sure it will work successfully on your device.  Not all devices are supported.  However, to be able to load your schedule from your desktop computer onto the device, and then copy the inspection results back onto your computer again, an add-on license is required.  This can be purchased from this web site.
